Class List Summary (Roster)

 

The following items are now combined into a single page:
• Class Roster
• Detail Class List
• Summary Class List

These are all accessed from the Class List Summary page, which can be reached from the Faculty Dashboard Card or the Faculty Detail Schedule.
Instructions below explain how to get to the page and use it.

Sign in to your SJRState portal. 

Find the Faculty Dashboard Card

Scroll down on the card to the Scheduling and Office Hours and click on it to open the sub menu

Under the Scheduling and Office Hours section, select Class List Summary.

In the Select a Term dropdown menu, click the dropdown arrow and choose the academic term you want to view (for example, Spring 2026 – 202620). Once selected, all classes for that term will load below.

You can search by CRN or Course Title using the search field on the right.

To open the Class List Summary, double-click anywhere in the row that is not a link, including the white space.

  • The Subject, Course Title, and CRN are links and will take you to other pages. Clicking these will not open the Class List Summary.

Select the CRN or Course Title hyperlink to view additional course details.

Class List from the Faculty Detail Schedule Page

The Faculty Detail Schedule page displays a faculty member's teaching schedule for a selected academic term.
 

Sign in to your SJRState portal. 

Find the Faculty Dashboard Card

Scroll down on the card to the Scheduling and Office Hours and click on it to open the sub menu

Select Faculty Detail Schedule from the Faculty Dashboard Card

Enter the Term and the CRN for your class, then select the class at the bottom of the page to view the course details.

From this page, you can access the Roster>Class List

Using the Class List Summary

From the Class List Summary, you can:

  • Print a printer-friendly version of the class list

  • Download or export the class list as an Excel file

  • Email students directly from the page by selecting one or more students and then selecting the email icon

    • The email will open in your default email application

  • Selecting a student’s name opens their Student Profile, where you can view the courses they are currently registered for.

Common Issues and Fixes

  • If the Email button on the Class List does not respond, follow the steps outlined in the article

    If the issue continues, contact the Help Desk using one of the support options listed at the bottom of the page.

  • Page not found error when clicking on the link, Clear the cache in your browser or try another browser
