Guide to Using the National Student Clearinghouse for Enrollment Verification
St. Johns River State College partners with the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) to provide secure and instant access to your enrollment verification information. This service is available online 24/7.
Important Notes Before You Begin
- Do NOT use your browser’s forward/back buttons.
- Always click Log Out when you are finished to protect the privacy of your records.

Access the Clearinghouse

From your Student Dashboard, go to External Resources and select NSC Enrollment Verification.

This will take you to the Enrollment Verification Welcome page provided by the Clearinghouse.

You will now see the NSC service options.

Choose the Service You Need
You will be presented with the following options:
1. Obtain an Enrollment Certificate
- Select this if you need to print or mail proof of enrollment to an outside party, such as:
- Health insurance providers
- Scholarship agencies
- Other organizations requiring proof of enrollment
- You can choose between:
- Current Enrollment – Verification for the current term only.
- All Enrollment – Verification for your full enrollment history at the college.
2. View Enrollment Information on File
- Use this option to review the enrollment data the Clearinghouse has on record for you.
- This is useful if you want to confirm that your enrollment is up to date before sending certificates.
3. View Student Loan Deferment Notifications
- Select this to check which student loan holders (lenders/guarantors) have been notified of your enrollment by the Clearinghouse.
- Helpful for confirming whether your student status has been reported for deferment purposes.
4. View Proofs of Enrollment Sent to Service Providers
- This shows a record of enrollment verifications already sent to:
- Health insurers
- Companies offering student discounts or services
- Use this if you want to see what organizations already received proof of your enrollment.
Print or Save Your Verification
If you request a certificate, you can:
- Print it immediately.
- Or save as a PDF to email or upload.
Log Out
When finished, click Log Out (top right corner).
This step is critical for protecting your personal information.
