Alertus Mobile App for Safety Alerts

Installing the Alertus Mobile App for SJRState

1. Navigate to your  device's app store and download Alertus, or click the appropriate link here:
   
   Android/Google Play - Alertus
   
   iPhone/iTunes App Store
    
2. After install is completed, open the app.
3. It will now ask for an Organization Code, enter "SJRSTATE" (capitalization does not matter) 
   
   
    
4. Enter your SJRState e-mail address on the following screen:
   
   
    
5.  ​​​An e-mail will be sent from noreply@mobile.alertus.com to your SJRState e-mail address. Follow the instructions in the e-mail, and click on the link provided to finish registration:
   
   
    
6. The link will provide a success message when the e-mail is verified. 
   
   
    
7. In the Alertus app, you should now see "EMAIL VERIFIED", click that to finish enrollment. 
   
   
    
8. Your device will ask for notifications and location. If you want alerts you should allow notifications.
9. Go to "My Subscriptions" in the Alertus App:
   
   
    
10. Subscribe to the campuses you attend and/or wish to receive alerts for, and confirm:
