What is my username/e-mail address?
Your user name is your first initial of your first name, and your last name, up to a character limit. This is suffixed with numbers if this is not a unique combination. For example, John Smith could be JSmith99 (capitalization is for illustration, user names are not case-sensitive). You will see your user name in the password reset page, initial on-boarding e-mail, and first-time user acceptance policy.
Your student E-mail address will be your user name, followed by @Vikings.SJRState.edu . Following the above example, it would be jsmith@vikings.sjrstate.edu .
Where do I use my E-mail address?
You will use your e-mail address on any sign-ins that have an "@" in the placeholder text, or any Microsoft-style login, such as the one below:

- On-Campus computers
- WiFi on campus
- Certain sign-ins for in-house systems that don't use E-mail / Single-Sign-On
