Faculty Grade Entry

Search by Term
You can search for a specific term by using the term code format (e.g., 202530) or by selecting the term name (e.g., Summer, fall, spring as there isnt enough charachters to add the year).

Sort by Term
To quickly sort terms, click the arrows in the "Term" column. Clicking twice will arrange the terms in descending order, showing the most recent term at the top.

Entering Grades
To enter grades, input the final grade and the last attendance date for each student. Ensure that all fields are accurately filled before submitting.

Printing or Saving Grades
1. Select the Course
- Navigate to the Enter Grades page.
- In the course list, click to highlight the class you want to print grades from.

Note:
The highlighted course row may appear very faint. Look closely for a light blue tint indicating which class is selected.
2. Open the Export Menu
- In the upper-right corner of the screen, click the cog wheel (Settings) icon.
- From the dropdown menu, select Export Template.

3. Choose an Export Format
- You will see two Excel export options. Select either format to download the grade file and click Export

Note:
The Export button is located at the very bottom of the pop-up window, inside the blue bar. It can be easy to miss because it blends into the background.
4. Open and Print
- Locate the downloaded Excel file in your Downloads folder.
- Open the file, then:
- Save it to your preferred location, or
- Print directly from Excel.

Note
You can edit the Excel file before printing for example, hiding columns you do not need.

Grading Status
The grading status indicates the current progress for each term:
-
Not Started: Grades are not yet open for entry, or grading is open but no grades have been entered.
-
In Progress: Grades have been entered and saved for some students, but not all
-
Completed: Grades have been entered and saved for all students.

Incomplete Grades
Enter the I grade for any students who are receiving an incomplete and then return to the Roster tab to enter the last date of attendance in the Last Attend Date field. Do not select the IF grade.
