Using the Phish Alert Button in Outlook Desktop:

  1. Open Outlook and navigate to your inbox.
  2. Select the suspicious email you want to report.
  3. In the toolbar at the top, click on the Phish Alert Button.
  4. A confirmation message will appear. Click Yes to report the email.
  5. The email will be forwarded to our IT security team for analysis, and it will be moved to your Deleted Items folder.
  6. Should the email be legitimate, you can restore the email to your inbox by selecting the email from your deleted items folder, right clicking and selecting “Restore”.

 

Using the Phish Alert Button in Outlook Mobile:

  1. Open the Outlook app on your mobile device.
  2. Select the suspicious email you want to report.
  3. Tap the three dots (More options) in the top right corner of the email.
  4. Scroll down and tap on the Phish Alert Button.
  5. Confirm the report by tapping Yes.
  6. The email will be forwarded to our IT security team for analysis, and it will be moved to your Deleted Items folder.
  7. Should the email be legitimate, you can restore the email to your inbox by selecting the email from your deleted items folder, tapping the 3 dots in the upper left of the screen and selecting “Restore”.
